God spoke to me today!

I just sat down and planned my preaching calendar through August. This is a habit I started a few years back on the advice of an experienced pastor who reminded me that, "God can lead you in the planning for as far out in advance as you want to plan. He knows the past, present, and future needs of your congregation." Even still I was a little wary and the task seemed onerous. Time has proven otherwise.
It's a joy to know where we are going so I can pray and read books related to specific upcoming topics. I am always especially blessed to see His perfect timing in the lives of the believers who attend here regularly SO... Lord willing I will be completing 2 Corinthians this Sunday and then one of our Elders and anointed teachers, Brian Helf will bring the message the Sunday after that and then in February I am bringing a four part series on Finances. I have been a bit overwhelmed by the response to the Financial Peace Class we are offering here starting Monday. As it stands now the signup is close to 20 and growing. I have experienced so many incredible financial blessings that I really felt in my spirit to share the freedom that can come from releasing your finances to God. When you faithfully offer God the first fruits (Proverbs 3:9) you sanctify the balance and He moves supernaturally (which I guess is what He always does since He's God) to make the rest go further then you could ever imagine!
I could go on and on but let's get through 2 Corinthians first! This week: Paul's dreaded "Thorn in the Flesh."See you then.
