Trinity
Worship is an independent body of believers in the
Lord Jesus Christ. We held our first service on November
4, 2001. We met for 18 months in hotel meeting rooms before
moving to our current location at 35 Commerce Avenue, Albany. We
are grateful to God for His provision and are excited about
ministering to the Capital District the grace and mercy of
our glorious Lord.
Our purpose is to bring
people into the household of faith, develop them to Christ-like
maturity, and equip them to minister, that we might worship
God in spirit and in truth.
We have a Nursery & Toddler Room for children
three and under. We ask that all parents dropping off
do so at the gate rather than entering the room for convenience
as well as safety sake. Of course you are
welcome to enter if you’d like to stay in the nursery
with you child. Our Toddler Room/Nursery Supervisor
is
Jen Sunukjian. Feel free to contact her
with any questions or concerns.
We have a youth church for 7-12th graders. Our
youth church is dismissed after worship and have a message
especially tailored to them by our Youth Church Director Kent
Salisbury. We
also have 7th/8th grade and 9-12 grade youth groups that meet
Sunday night from 4:45-7pm. Our
youth groups are fun and promote real biblical discipleship.
We have a prayer team for prayer needs. Requests
can be submitted on welcome cards in the pews, by email,
or by calling the office. Our prayer team
is also available up front to pray with you after service every
Sunday. Click here to submit your prayer request.
We have pickup service for Sunday Service, Awana,
and Youth group. We have a church bus and
an army of ready volunteers!
The first Sunday of the month is the collection for
our food pantry. Donations should be left
in the kitchen area. Our food pantry is always open
for you to access and for donations. Please see a Pastor,
an Elder or Lori Peterson after service or call the church
office during the week.
Our Women’s bible study meets on Monday nights
during the school year. All ladies are invited
to join them for an intimate time of worship, bible-study,
group discussion, and prayer.
Our youth ages 4-6th grade are dismissed after worship
to Sunday School. Their teachers meet them
in the kitchen area to escort them to class and can be identified
by their lanyards. Our Sunday School Supervisor is
Cindy Lovegrove.
Our Men’s discipleship group meets Wednesday
morning from 6-7am. The foundational scripture
for this ministry is “And the things that you have
heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful
men who will be able to teach others also.” (2 Tim.2:2) “NKJV.
Awana is a ministry for kids 18 months through 6th
grade that trains them to know, love, and serve the Lord
Jesus Christ. Kids are separated into four
age groups. Our club meets every Sunday
from 5-7pm during the school year. The center of Awana
is the Gospel and therefore the ministry is very evangelical! There
are age appropriate games, scripture memory, music, awards,
and loads of fun for every age! Visitors are always
welcome. For more information call the church office
or talk to our Awana Commander, Brian
Helf.
Our Board of Elders meets on a weekly basis and our
monthly business meeting is the Second Monday of every month. If
you have any special prayer requests you may submit them
in the offering, in the box on the pillar near the sound
board, or by email. It would be our privilege to agree with
you in prayer.
Our Church’s Family Life Ministries uses the
Growing Families International Curriculum. GFI is
a ministry which provides materials to encourage the practical
application of biblical truth to parenting! There are
seven separate classes offered based the ages of your children. See
the info table or growingkids.org for more information.
MINISTRY HIGHLIGHTS
On first Sunday of every month we receive a Missions
Fund offering to support missionaries and our Outreach Ministry. Thank
your for your prayers and support.
Periodically we have presentations by our Drama Ministry.
On the last Sunday of the month before our Sunday
School is dismissed and on some special occasions, we celebrate
communion. We encourage families to make communion
at home a part of their own family devotional time! See
Pastor’s pamphlet on the meaning of Communion available
on the info table.
Occasionally there will be a time for testimonies! We
are always blessed and encouraged to hear what the Lord is
doing in your life!
Some events run seasonally or may be subject to change.
