History of the Church

Trinity Worship Christian Fellowship is an independent body of believers in the Lord Jesus Christ. Our founding pastor, Dominic Sunukjian was ordained in October of 2001 by the elders and pastors of Reach Out Fellowship, Albany NY, Rev. Dr. Jerry Lynn, Senior Pastor.  Trinity Worship held their first service on November 4, 2001. We met for 18 months in hotel meeting rooms before moving to our current facility, a former health club, located at 35 Commerce Avenue, Albany, where we have been since April 2003. In 2006 NY State approved the facility to include daycare. Since then, we have incrementally increased our space, first from 6000 to 8700 square feet in 2007, expanding our usable Daycare space to accommodate 45 children. In 2008 we expanded our ministry to the community by opening a Thrift Store which provides clothing, house wares and furniture at greatly reduced prices. In 2009 we expanded again to include a gym, six additional offices, a second kitchen, and large open area used as a teen center. The current 13,000 square foot facility is leased through 2012 with an option to extend through 2014. Although our congregation resides all over the Capital District, God has continued to confirm His desire for us to minister where we have been placed by continuing to open and expand many avenues of ministry to the community at large. We believe our greatest history is yet to be written!
