Welcome to our website! Whether you recently visited our
church, were invited to our site by a friend, received some literature,
or you were just surfing the net and found us we’re glad
you’re here. We have sought to make this site easy
to navigate for the visitor and for the member practical for ministry. Some
have asked, “Why the highway theme?” Good question,
glad you asked. The Lord has impressed on us over these last
seven or so years that it is critical to have a goal. Simply
stated Jesus said to Thomas, “I am the way, the truth, and
the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. (John
14:6) “NKJV” For every area of life Jesus is the answer. He
is our spiritual destination, the light at the end of the highway. But
in a practical sense God has shown us that we must have a plan
for the application of this truth. We are confident that
no matter what your level of spiritual maturity or station in life,
our church has the tools to assist you in your discipleship. Does
that sound intrusive to you? That’s not how we mean
it. We do take seriously Christ’s command to “make
disciples” and we offer a tapestry of ministry all with the
same godly purpose: to help you be conformed to the image of His
Son (Rom 8:29). What is God’s best for me? What
is God’s best for singleness? What is God’s best
for marriage? What is God’s best for parenting? How
will God use me now that the kids are grown? How will God
use me now that I’m retired? You probably have your
own questions too!
We start with this premise: God has a plan and purpose for each
life and He has ordained family; even if you are single without
children you are a family of one. (If you think about it God showed
us this in that He didn’t choose to populate the earth with
many couples but with one. Therefore we are all family.) Our
second premise: God expects us to be a committed member of
a spiritual family. And let us consider one another in
order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling
of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting
one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews
10:24, 25) “NKJV” We love to be together and
our fellowship reflects it! There’s always room for more on the road. You determine
your speed. You drive or catch a ride with us. Either
way we are excited to offer you the encouragement, tools, and diverse
opportunities to make friendships that you and your family need
to live a blessed Christ-centered life. The world needs to
know the reason for our hope. We invite you to join us on
the highway. |
